5th Operating Model Scientific Technical Meeting

This is a small, highly technical working group meeting of stock assessment specialists. Its purpose is to update the CCSBT’s operating model with new data so as to conduct an in-depth stock assessment for presentation to the September 2014 meeting of the Extended Scientific Committee. The assessment, along with indicators and any other relevant information, will be used to determine whether there is evidence for exceptional circumstances (an example of exceptional circumstances would be if the stock assessment was substantially outside the range of simulated stock trajectories considered in MP evaluations, calculated under the reference set of operating models).
